banto is an online tool that helps you organize professional research for you, so that you can do what you enjoy most: the actual research.

banto recruits participants for you. It works like an online blackboard. Simply publish a posting to banto and participants can start signing up for it. Two different filters help you getting the participants you need without compromising data security. Internal and external access to your studies is possible: You choose your users.
Need special equipment like VR glasses? Eyetrackers? Or simply a room all to yourself? Just tell banto and it will automatically book it for you. You don't need to conduct a study to book equipment, but we do suggest trying it out in the context of conducting one. It helps you to use your research to its highest capacity.
Keeping your data safe is our priority. Therefor we've paid special attention to keep your data secure ever since we've started to develop the software - Security by Design.

Research is Teamwork. Many people often work on the same research projects. It's important to keep them all up to date. You're able to share your postings with anyone you would like to.
Use banto for your students. Universities often require students to collect hours as a proband. banto has a system that keeps track of the aquired credits.
Ensure quality through evaluation. Participants can evaluate studies, experimenters can evaluate participants. The evaluation is confidental.
Notification- and Remindermails ensure that your participants are always up to date about new studies and don't forget any of their appointments.
Incorporate banto easily in your IT structure. banto works with LDAP and OD which centralizes your user organization. If employees leave or you hire new ones, permissions can easily be adjusted.Do you need to link surveys? No problem. banto allows you to leave a link in your study. You can also integrate appointments from banto into your calendar, because banto appointments come with an importable ICS file.
We would like to make academic research financially more independent. For this reason, we provide this software to our academic partners for free.
With banto we would like to create a global participant network that can be used by academic as well as industry partners. Access for the latter partners would be for a fee. The revenues are meant to further finance the project as well as return it to academics partners in various forms, e.g. grants or development of new research tools.

Check posting status, edit postings, organize participants, share postings, delete postings.
Archive and restore postings.
Participate in Postings
Participate in postings you fulfill the requirements for by choosing an available date and signing up.
Include and Exclude participants
Include or exclude participants from previous postings.
Participants can assign user properties to themselves. You're able to use a property filter when creating a posting.
View all bookings, sign in or out of them, cancel appointments or export all appointments with iCal.
Check availability of items and export Calendar with iCal.
Edit personal information, assign user properties to yourself, subscribe to the Newsletter about postings or delete your account.
As an admin you can edit users, user properties, create collection types, edit equipment and much more.

banto is free of charge for academic research institutions when used in a research context.
